Motorcycle
handlebar mitts feature black nylon shell insulated with
soft poly-cotton lining. Velcro pocket on the inside for
heat packs. Fully adjustable Velcro strap ensures these
mitts to fit dirt bikes, vintage bikes, touring bikes, sport
bikes or ATV's. Waterproof.
Fully
approved by our very own test rider with over 1 million
and half miles under his belt. He gave them 2 DRY, WARM
but dirty thumbs up!
He
has ridden with electric gloves, waterproof Gortex gloves,
leather insulated gloves; and all proved to get cold after
long distances. Plus they were bulky and a pain in the ass
to remove and replace once wet.
With
our Moto Muffs you just "slip right in". Thus
being able to wear a thinner road-racing glove to get proper
feedback from your controls.

We
recommend time and practice in your alley before taking
these to the road. Get familiar with your controls while
using the Moto Muffs. You have to get used to the fact that
you cannot see yours hands. Practice putting your hands
in and out of the Moto Muffs. In an emergency these are
pliable enough to pull your brake and clutch over the mitts
should the need arise.

If
the Hippo Hands do not fit your handlebars / mirrors, check
out how John handled the situation for his cruiser.
“The
way I solved it was to remove the mirrors and put the muffs
on the handlebars in the position they would be for riding.
Then I located and marked the spots where the mirrors should
go. I took the muffs to an alterations shop and had a buttonhole
put in each muff at that spot. A one inch button hole is
about right. Then I could put the mirrors on through the
muffs at the right location.”
